Honors English Blog Post #1

I do consider myself to be somewhat of a writer mainly because I enjoy writing essays and or stories. However, I only write when I am tasked with it for a school assignment in either my English or AP classes. Some people believe that being a writer regards to more serious writing such as blogging and journalism. My idea of writing is basically any form of writing such as writing essays, letters, stories, books and even texting. The essay and story writing portion is mainly only done by me in school. However, the letters and texting parts are what I do both at home or school.

As I said before, I only mainly write for school assignments. This assignments are given in two main classes which are my English and AP NSL History classes. So far this year I have had many writing assignments for both classes. For example, In History alone, I had to write for a DBQ on National Debt in the U.S., a personal political ideology project, and a Presidential Research Essay/Project. In addition to that, I had to write a personal memoir, and an analysis for a play.

The only reason I write is to get a good grade. However, when writing stories I write because I like too write stories that are unrealistic. I also like to write essays because I enjoy having to write multiple body paragraphs. Also, I dont really write in my free time. The only form is writing I do in my free time is texting.
