Dear Assou, I know you are finished with your Research Paper by now but I wanted to creat a Top Ten list of things you should know when starting it.
- Read over instructions given by teacher and pay close attention whiles shes giving them out so you can better understand the assignment.
- Use teacher slides as a reference while writing your paper so you can know what it should look like.
- Outline template should be bullet points to avoid unnecessary extra work.
- Easybib.com is a great and efficient website to use for references/annotated bibs
- Check research calendar frequently to know if you are on track with your work or not.
- Outline template should set you up for rough draft so the transition to final draft can be easier.
- Double check final draft multiple times after finishing to guarantee there were no mistakes.
- Ask many questions if you are struggling to help you better understand the task.
- Use all the time you can get in order to finish it and get it out of the way and avoid procrastination.
- Properly go over peer review notes so you can fix any errors you made.

All the issues you pointed out I had. I can particularly relate to issues 5,7 and 10. I had so man y time management issues because I spent so much time on research. I also made a lot of mistakes but I fixed most of them, that’s what I thought until my work was peer reviewed only for them to find a huge mass of mistakes.

I had the same problem with asking for help, because I thought that I could figure things out on my own. I also procrastinate a lot, so that was something that I needed to fix.

Great work Assou as always 💯. One of the points you made that I can get behind is paying attention to your teacher so you can understand the assignment. The whole class I zoned in and out so in the end I struggled a lot with completing the assignment. As long as someone pays attention to the teacher while they explain the assignment they should be fine.
